Although the PASEO Festival had to be cancelled, the PASEO Team is working hard to make sure the art, itself, still cannot be cancelled. They are now featuring "The Word on the Street," by PASEO 2021 artist Scott Froschauer, which is making its debut on Taos Plaza this week. Take a stroll to check them out.

Taos Volunteer Fire Department responded this morning (Feb. 15) to a report of a structure fire on Millicent Rogers Road near US-64. Smoke could be seen from the north side of town. As of 11:35 this morning, firefighters were still combating the blaze.

Update: Tuesday (Oct. 20), 4:34 p.m. The Public Affairs Office at Kirtland Air Force Base said in an email that the base rarely flies planes on the weekends and had no report of an "aircraft mishap." 

An airman at the Cannon Air Force Base public affairs office said he had not heard of an accident involving any Cannon aircraft. Cannon officials had not yet officially confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
