A 38-year-old man who allegedly shot and killed a 25-year-old on Dea Lane in Taos last Thursday turned himself in to authorities shortly after the incident, a statement of probable cause filed in Taos Magistrate Court reveals.
Taos Police Chief John Wentz said investigators are looking into the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man on Dea Lane in Taos Thursday night (Dec. 2) and took a 38-year-old man into custody in connection to the alleged killing.
For more than two decades, news reporters, editors and readers of the Santa Fe New Mexican considered editor Rob Dean the light of the newsroom. The affable, eminently likable Dean, considered a stalwart of journalism in New Mexico, died unexpectedly Sunday at his Santa Fe home, said his wife, Toni Dean. He was 65. The cause of death had not been determined.
