Age 72, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2021, with her daughter Judy at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Catalina Griego and Cayetano Trujillo; son Johnny Esquibel; and three husbands Leroy Mascarenas, Juan A. Esquibel and Casimiro Trujillo.
Taos Middle School is offering Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines to kids before the start of the school year.
The vaccine pop-up clinic, located at 235 Paseo Del Cañon in Taos, will provide shots to Taos County kids ages 12–18 years old, including children in Questa, Peñasco and local charter schools.
Age 73, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully at the Taos Living Center on June 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto O. and Cleo Martinez, and brothers, Raul, and Julian Martinez. Dolores spent the last 22 years of her life at the Taos Living Center, she was a very kind and loving lady. She will be remembers by her “giggles”.
Mrs. Priscilla Reyna-Jojola of Isleta and Taos Pueblos, passed away on May 25, 2021. She was born to parents Telesfor and Pauline Reyna of Taos Pueblo on December 15, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Santiago (Jimmy) Reyna and her grandson Miles Espinosa.
Age 83, a resident of Ranchitos, passed away peacefully May 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Sara Morgas; siblings Isabel Medina, Gloria Vigil, Ernesto “Chopo” Morgas; in-laws David Martinez and Alice and Victor Goure, Josefita Varos, son-in-law Tony Miers, along with many other relatives.

Born to a Russian-Jewish father and a French Basque-Italian mother - Golden enjoyed a rare blend of cultural mixology.
Age 20, a resident of Ranchos De Taos, passed away on May 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by his uncle Javier Munoz, grandfather, Cruz Munoz, and girlfriend Maria Elena Cruz. Juan was a very loving and caring man who had a heart of gold. He loved helping people in their time of need as he worked caring for the elderly at the Taos Living Center for quite some time. Juan was in the New Mexico National Guard for 3 years.
