Dear Dr. Ted:

I am an avid fan of the news but lately, I have noticed I am exhausted of hearing the travesties of this pandemic, the gluttony and debauchery of people in power, and lack of humanistic thinking. Even though I am grateful for my life and am doing okay, I feel this deep sadness that is eating at my passion and love getting up in the morning. Do you think other people are feeling this way or am I just in a strange spot?

Thanks, Singing the Blues

A few dozen community members attended a candlelight vigil Friday night (Feb. 26) for community healing and mental health awareness outside Taos County Courthouse.

"Out of the darkness, and into the light," youth minister Jill Cline said to the socially-distanced crowd. "We are each other's light. ... Remember that together we shine brightly, and together we can help each other out of the darkness."
