Cats aren’t usually known for their love of water, especially big cats. But there are cases where water is exactly where a Tiger is most comfortable. Take, for instance, the Taos High School swim team who crushed their opponents in an abbreviated schedule this past weekend and swam all the way to the state tourney.

On Saturday (Jan. 18), the Taos Tigers swim team competed in the Demon Invite after having not competed in over a month. Both the boys and girls teams finished in the top five, with the girls finishing in third out of 13 teams, respectively, and the boys finishing fourth out of 11 teams.
