Taos Feeds Taos, a local nonprofit committed to feeding struggling families during the holidays, is doing its annual fundraising drive again this year, but due to COVID-19 it will be a little different. Last year they provided grocery vouchers to Super Save Discount Foods, instead of having a food drive and filling food boxes. This year they will continue providing grocery vouchers.

The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) announced on Oct. 20 that it had awarded more than $157 million to child care providers in the state, with about $1.1 million in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to be distributed to eight businesses in Taos County.
