Unofficial results in Taos County primary available June 3

Vote tally for the 2020 primary will continue through the night in Taos County, as election staff work to county more than 6,000 absentee ballots.

My husband and I are 30-year-plus longtime Taos aficionados, and as of several years ago we bought property and plan to retire in Taos.

We met Dolores Lujan around 10 years ago through a mutual friend of 30 years. When she heard we planned to become Taos residents, she offered to help us whenever we had questions about our upcoming journey to Taos. And she has!

She unassumingly has demonstrated her experience to us over the years. She has been helpful, honest, accommodating and transparent.

She is a not a politician, but from our conversations with her over the years, she is a dedicated Taoseña and wants to make a difference.

We wholeheartedly hope that Dolores Lujan is Taos' next county clerk when we move to Taos next year.
