Patsy was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on February 20, 1933.  At 15, she graduated from high school in Causey, New Mexico.  In 1973 she graduated from the University of Colorado, Magna Cum Laude, and became a Certified Public Accountant.  She worked on the initial formation of Centinel Bank and later returned to Taos to serve as Chief Financial Officer.   Patsy was a mentor, role model and leader for everyone around her and made a positive impact on the community of Taos. She was excellent at cooking and entertaining and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She loved country music and dancing.   She was a cherished mother, grandmother, wife and friend, and we will miss her.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, an organization Patsy supported since its formation, dedicated to helping students of all ages go on to receive post-secondary education.
