Orlando Salazar

Age 85, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sons George and Timothy Salazar; parents Flavio & Reyesitas Salazar; in-laws George and Manuelita Chavez; brother Agustine Salazar. Orlando proudly served in the United States Marines, later he worked for many non-profit organizations within Taos County and founded the ARC, now known as Los Angelitos.   He will be greatly missed by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Sarah Salazar; son Marcos Salazar (Jenn); grandchildren Andrea, Timothy, Shardee and Nadia Salazar; siblings Angelina Gutierrez (Fidel), Flavio Salazar (Anna Mae), Ted Salazar (Ida), Neddy Salazar (Corine); special in-laws Luca Chavez, Carmela Villafranca, Bettina Pacheco (Manuel), and many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial Service was held on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.
