Anthony Jeantete Sr.

Age 71, a resident of Ranchos de Taos and formerly of La Loma, passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Uvaldo & Georgia Jeantete; siblings Filiberto Jeantete, Bobby Jeantete, Uval do Jeantete Jr., George Jeantete, and Dennis Jeantete; grandparents Epifania & Gabriel Jeantete and Tomacita Archuleta and Eugenio Montoya; grandson Randy Medina; daughter-in-law Carla Jeantete; and mother of his 3 youngest children, Mary Ann Jeantete. Anthony loved and adored his loving family, especially his grandchildren.  For many years, he was employed as a chef at Kachina Lodge, later he retired after working at Casa de Valdez. He is survived by his children Denise Jeantete (Miguel), Eric Jeantete (Erica), Yevette Jeantete (Anthony), Anthony Jeantete Jr. (Liz), and Jovan Jeantete (Isaac); grandchildren Britney Jeantete (Richie), Amberlee Jeantete (Josh), Marcos Gallegos (Amberley), Marissa Gallegos, Gary Medina (Nickie), Michael Anthony Maul, Alyssa Maul, Mariah Martinez (Martin), Isaac Martinez Jr., Dominique Jeantete (Sergio), Angelo Jeantete, Shania Jeantete, Sierra Jeantete, Samantha Jeantete, Timothy Jeantete and Seth Jeantete; great-grandchildren Santos Martinez, Jayden Medina, Espn Jeantete and Josiah Gallegos; siblings David Jeantete (Jeneva), Terry Jeantete (Paul); in-laws Mable Jeantete, Gilda Jeantete, Diane Jeantete and Lori Trujillo (Alfonso); special nephew Jason Jeantete (Maria); mother of his two oldest children Patsy Jeantete, plus many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 9am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Martinez Cemetery in Ranchos de Taos.  A meal in his honor will follow at St. Joseph’s Hall / Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
