Age 77, passed away on June 22, 2022, in his home with his beloved wife Evelyn by his side. Gary was born and raised in Arkansas City, Kansas. After high school he received an appointment to West Point. As a career Army Officer, Gary served in numerous countries and positions. A Vietnam Veteran, he retired in 1989.

Age 86 a resident of Ranchos De Taos, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Clorinda Mondragon; parents, Jose Olmedo and Hipalita Mondragon; siblings, Lilly Peck, Ernest Mondragon, Otilia “Tillie” Vigil, Margaret Blea, Steve Mondragon, and Arturo “Art” Mondragon.

Age 77 passed away peacefully on June 22nd in Dallas, Texas. Tom was born January 10, 1945 in Dallas and lived in Taos and Arroyo Hondo from the early 1990s until the mid- 2000s. With his longtime partner Brian Falk, he founded FaFa’s Furniture Store in Taos and a gallery in Arroyo Hondo.  Tom and Brian were active members of the Taos community and loved the unique environment.

Kay Corneil was born November 18, 1939, to Marguerite Ortloff Corneil and Ward Corneil in Blackwell, OK. Following a lengthy battle with dementia she passed away May 31, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM due to complications from dementia at the age of 82.

Left this world peacefully, the way he lived his life.  Born on November 16, 1933, in East Los Angeles, CA, to Clyde and Sara Lamkin, John was a counterculture pioneer.  His artistic spirit and love of adventure led him to travel the world, mostly with his loving companion Susanna Starr, exploring cultures and photographing and writing about them in various magazines.

A resident of Taos, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 23, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose D. and Martha Mondragon and sister Dolores Martinez. Joe L. Mondragon was a retired teacher and principal who received his teaching degree from Highlands University and a master’s degree from Adams State University.

Romero; five brothers, Max (Clara), Narciso (Elena), Ernesto (Eva), Elui (Sherry), and Eloy; and four sisters, Eliria (Andy), Dora, Flossie (Rudolfo), and Lily.

Exit Stage Left.  Anne Louise Silberman took her final breath on June 21st, 2022, singing to classic soul tunes of the 1970’s and holding the hands of her twin sister Lisa Craze and younger sister and caregiver Linda Silberman. Anne began her life as the firstborn of twins, in Baltimore, Maryland.

“I’m outta here on Friday,” she declared. And so it came to pass that Dr. Irene Kathryn (Eyo) Grier, mother, nurse, teacher, confidante, poet, human BS-detector, road warrior, healer, animal lover, friend, film buff, and righteous badass closed the last chapter of her life in this world.

Age 88, of Ranchos de Taos, passed away on June 5th, 2022, of natural causes surrounded by her family. Maggie was born in 1933 in Llano Quemado. Maggie met her husband Ernesto Gutierrez in Taos NM. Together they started a family in Taos and lived there for several years of their marriage, eventually moving to Nevada and then returning to Taos.

Fondly known as "Grandmother Jean", aka "Adasti Gadahee", passed away June 3rd, 2022 at her home in Taos, New Mexico. She was a fiery Cherokee medicine woman and crystal healer. She was also a long standing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, since 1955. Her deep reverence for the Creator allowed her to integrate both paths.
