Two vehicles crashed Saturday afternoon (May 16) at the intersection of State Road 522, US 64 and State Road 150, otherwise known as the Old Blinking Light intersection in El Prado.

The vehicles, both with what appeared to be front-end damage, were still in the corner of the busy intersection around 3 p.m. Medics from Taos County Emergency Services and Taos Volunteer Fire Department had responded, along with deputies.

Sergeant Jason Rael of the Taos County Sheriff's Office said in an update that one of the vehicles was driving southbound through the intersection when the other vehicle made a left turn in front of it.

Three people who suffered minor injuries in the crash were taken to Holy Cross Medical Center, Rael said.
