The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from March 6-11.
12:27 a.m. Animal noise, Montoya Street – A caller said a woman on her block continues to let her dogs outside and said they make a lot of noise.
2:24 p.m. Animal stray, Albertsons – A caller said a medium-sized dog with an orange collar was running in and out of traffic near the store.
7:19 p.m. Animal noise, Montoya Street – A caller said her neighbor had let her dogs outside and they had been making noise all day.
8:12 p.m. Welfare check, Taos Eco Park – A caller said a driver in a red Cadillac was dealing drugs. The caller said it looked like the driver waved a gun at another vehicle.
10:39 p.m. Welfare check, Gusdorf Road – A caller said a woman told her she had been drinking for four days and was going to die.
11:35 p.m. Welfare check, Smith’s – A caller said a man behind the donation bin was flipping him off.
9:26 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Super 8 – The manager of the hotel wanted to evict the former manager, who had been given a three-day notice to vacate the premises.
9:57 a.m. Sex offense juvenile, Taos Police Department – An officer wanted a case opened for an unspecified juvenile sex offense.
12:15 p.m. Welfare check, Sipapu Street – A man in a cowboy hat was standing in the middle of the street looking for a ride.
12:57 p.m. Assault, Walmart – A caller said someone had thrown a hitch pin at him.
1:13 p.m. Harassment, Tri-County Community Services – A man in a cowboy hat was harassing customers, asking them for rides.
1:16 p.m. Narcotics offense adult, Sipapu Street – A caller said there were two people in a dark blue van who looked like they were doing drugs.
2:58 p.m. Battery, Taos High School – A caller said his son had just been assaulted by another kid.
3:39 p.m. Animal stray, Adobe Road – A caller said there are two dogs in her neighborhood that get into the trash and try to start fights with other dogs.
10:04 a.m. Warrant, Taos Adult Probation & Parole – A caller said a woman was trying to tamper with her urine sample.
10:25 a.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Peralta Street – A caller said someone had stolen his truck during the night.
10:44 a.m. Larceny, Cielo Azul – A caller said her registration had been stolen from her green Ford Explorer sometime during the night.
11:04 a.m. Animal stray, 9 to 5 Ship & Print – A caller said someone had run over a dog in the roadway.
11:06 a.m. Juvenile problem, Taos Middle School – A caller said a student was found with a blade.
11:53 a.m. Law, unknown problem, El Camino Lodge – A caller said a manager was refusing to give her back a refund because the manager said they were smoking in a room.
7:18 a.m. Harassment, Cielo Azul – A caller said she woke up to find a note on her door from her ex, who she said was threatening to take the tire cabs off of her vehicle so she couldn’t go anywhere.
1:26 p.m. Theft of motor vehicle, Walmart – A caller said his 2018 black Toyota RAV4 would be parked at the front of Walmart.
3:38 p.m. Welfare check, DreamTree Project – A caller said three teenagers were walking down the street and one looked like he had been beaten up badly.
6:08 p.m. Harassment, Smith’s – A caller said a man there was drunk and harassing her and her daughter.
5:17 a.m. Burglary residential, Kit Carson Propane – A caller said someone was trying to break into her house.
10:38 a.m. Larceny, Sagebrush Inn – A caller said his wife’s wedding ring was stolen out of her room.
1:26 p.m. Welfare check, Mariposa Apartments – A caller said an elderly woman was walking around the parking lot trying to get into vehicles.
3:15 p.m. Narcotics offense adult, Salazar Road – A caller said a man was dealing drugs and just did a drug deal.
6:54 p.m. Information report, Las Cruces Road – A caller said a man stole her security camera at the end of her street and said he was going to kill her. She then went into her house to get a stun gun.
8:18 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Cielo Azul – A caller was requesting a patrol of the area because a man dressed in all black was taking pictures of kids.
12:56 a.m. Disturbing the peace, The Gorge Bar & Grill – A caller said employees cleaning at the restaurant were playing music loudly, disturbing guests at the La Fonda Hotel.
1:15 p.m. Narcotics offense adult, Smith’s – A caller said someone was in the restroom intoxicated and making a scene.
3:27 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Civic Plaza Drive – A caller said there was a vehicle with a big antenna on it parked in the back of the old dispatch center. They said they were concerned someone might be stealing credit card information or other person data using the antenna.
