The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Jan. 15-20.
1:58 p.m. Disorderly conduct, Bent Street - A caller said that a man in the area was drunk and stealing things from the museum.
5:38 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Midtown Market & Lounge - A caller was requesting an officer because a driver in the area had struck a deer.
5:47 p.m. Shoplifting, Walgreens - A caller said someone walked out of the store with a basketful of items without paying.
9:56 a.m. Burglary residential, Quesnel Street - A caller said that someone had broken into her residence. She said all of the doors were locked, but that a window had been opened.
10:20 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Gusdorf Road - A caller said that there was a lot of activity at a house in the area, with several people going in and out. The caller suspected there was drug dealing taking place at this residence.
4:35 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Taos Public Library - A caller said that a man sitting by the bathroom had pulled out a large knife.
5:13 p.m. Breaking and entering, Quesnel Street - A caller said that she has been having trouble with break-ins at her residence.
8:12 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Walmart - A caller said an intoxicated man was trying to break into vehicles in the parking lot and left in a Nissan.
7:29 a.m. 911 hang up, Sagebrush Inn - A caller said they had been shot at the Sagebrush Inn.
2:38 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Delicado Lane - A caller said a man was banging on windows trying to break in.
12:34 p.m. Shoplifting, Super Save - A caller said a woman was caught shoplifting and was trying to leave the store.
3:42 p.m. Suspicious mail package, Camino de la Luz - A caller said someone was sending inappropriate packages and didn't know who was sending them.
