The Taos Police Department and Taos County EMS responded Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. Monday (Feb. 22) to a report of a woman who had fallen out of a second story window at the new Ochenta apartment complex on Herdner Road. The woman appeared to have broken an arm and was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Holy Cross Medical Center and was in the emergency room as of 6 p.m.

According to town of Taos Police Chief John Wentz, the woman claimed the fall was accidental, and there was “no sign of disturbance” to indicate otherwise.
