Another man missing, NMSP seek help

Damon A Tucruskye was reported missing after his family did not hear from him.

(Update Oct. 25, 8:50 a.m.): New Mexico State Police confirmed over the weekend that Damon Tucruskye has been located and is safe.

New Mexico State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Damon A. Tucruskye, 27. Tucruskye is a 5’7” causcasian male with hazel eyes and long wavy brown hair, and weighing approximately 126 pounds.

The notice of the missing person comes just hours after another Taos man, Benjamin C. Damon, 38, was reported missing, last seen on Oct. 16.

Tucruskye was last seen on October 13 at the “Earthship Compound” in Taos, NM, according to a press release from NMSP. He was last in contact with his family on the same day via telephone.

Tucruskye is the second person reported missing from the Taos area on Wednesday (Oct. 20) (Benjamin Damon was reported missing just four hours earlier).

Tucruskye, originally from New York, has family in the Taos area, said New Mexico State Police public information officer Dusty Francisco.

Several identifying marks on Tucruskye include a goatee, scars on both of his arms, a tattoo of paws on his shoulder and several other tattoos. It is not known what he was last wearing. He is believed to be in danger if not located.
