Dive into the weekend with excitement this Saturday (Sept. 4). Laguna Vista Resort in Eagle Nest invites car and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over The Enchanted Circle to an Labor Day Weekend car show featuring classic, futuristic and "just plain crazy cars from all over Northern New Mexico," they state in a press release.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the 2nd Annual Eagle Nest Labor Day Car Show and Celebration invites visitors to interact with owners of unique cars and motorcycles "in a gorgeous, safe and socially distant outdoor setting," press continues, "paired with live music by Don Johnson, great food and a huge selection of local beers, cocktails and an impressive wine list."

Car and bike show owners line up at 7:30 a.m., permitted by paying a $25 vehicle entry fee. Car and bike judging begins at 8 a.m. More than $2,500 in cash prizes will be awarded at 2:30 p.m. for several categories, which will include an interactive People's Choice award chosen by car show visitors.

At press time, entries were still being accepted for this upcoming event and tickets are not necessary for those who want to come chat with car and bike owners and take in the music.

"This is a family friendly event that will be loads of fun for everyone!" the press for the show concludes.
