April 7

1:46 a.m. Shots Fired, Valerio Road - Multiple callers said a man fired shots at some people. Officers tracked down the vehicle, but a car chase ensued. He was stopped and then took off on foot. He was eventually arrested and taken to the Taos County Adult Detention Center.

11:49 a.m. Larceny, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - Caller said his father was short changing him money from his stimulus check and wanted to make a report.

3:00 p.m. Trespassing, Lotaburger - Caller said a man in a red hat and blue jeans was refusing to leave unless cops showed up, after he got mad because he was told to wear a mask.

April 8

1:20 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, Don Fernando de Taos - Caller said people in the room next door were making too much noise and being loud. It was kids playing games and they were told to keep it down.

5:33 p.m. Welfare Check, Taos Plaza - Caller said a man wearing all black was talking to himself and yelling near the Gorge Bar and Grill.

10:04 p.m. Citizen Assist, Kit Carson Park - Caller said they got locked inside the park.

April 9

7:24 a.m. Unconscious Fainting, Hampton Inn - a 66-year-old was found unconscious and not breathing. The person was pronounced dead by the Office of the Medical Investigator.

10:49 a.m. Information Report, Nusenda - An individual said he hates Taos and warned not to mess with his Nusenda account.

4:00 p.m. Larceny, Camino de la Placitas - Caller said someone had stolen the license plate and tailgate from his truck.

6:34 p.m. Protection Order Violation, Don Fernando Street - Caller said her parents were parked at Enos Garcia school and were flipping her off and that she had a restraining order against them.

April 10

1:23 a.m. Structure Fire, Salazar Road - Caller said a trailer was on fire. It turned out to be two trash piles and was quickly put out by the Taos Volunteer Fire Department.

6:46 a.m. Harassment, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - Caller said a guy was causing problems and had thrown stuff in the caller's face when asked to leave.

12:16 p.m. Identity Theft, Delicado Lane - Caller said she had her identity stolen and that her employer called her to ask if she had filed for unemployment when she hadn't.

5:37 p.m. Graffiti, Baskin Robbins - Caller said they caught someone in a white vehicle tagging the side of a building.

April 11

12:35 a.m. Domestic Disturbance, State Road 518 - Caller said he was having issues with his girlfriend who was hitting and biting him. They were separated for the night.

8:46 p.m. Criminal Damage, Mondo Italiano - Caller said individuals in a grey car and black truck had shot at the business with paintball guns.
