The FBI is investigating the possible murder of two adults who were found dead inside a residence at Taos Pueblo on Saturday (June 1).

Frank Fisher, an FBI public affairs officer based in Albuquerque, confirmed the possible homicide on Monday (June 3), but could not identify the deceased as of press time.

"The FBI and Taos Pueblo Department of Public Safety are investigating the apparent homicide of two adults," Fisher wrote in response to an email inquiry submitted by The Taos News.

He said no arrests have been made in connection to the two deaths, the causes of which should be illuminated by a medical examination that was still pending as of Monday afternoon.

Representatives at the Taos Pueblo Governor's Office declined to comment on the incident.

This is a developing story.
