The New Mexico Department of Health has launched a dashboard to help the public see the number of cases of COVID-19 in a county-by-county map.

The dashboard also shows the cases by age and gender. Currently, the 1,597 positive cases of COVID-19 are split 48.18 percent male and 51.82 percent female. Within age groups, the number of cases is highest and about equal among those in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Those in their 20s have the next highest group of positive cases.

According to a statement from the Department of Health, "the state will endeavor to update the data at least twice weekly on the Health Department’s COVID-19 microsite, cv.nmhealth.org ."

John Hopkins University has a county-by-county COVID-19 tracking map for the entire United States through its Coronavirus Resource Center.
