Taos Realtor Page Sullivan, an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Lota Realty, Inc., has recently received the International President's Elite Award, an honor bestowed to the top 2 percent of all Coldwell Banker associates worldwide.
Earning a Coldwell Banker international award is no easy task, but Sullivan, a veteran of nearly 20 years in Taos real estate, is no stranger to receiving recognition. She has received a top producer award every year she has been with the company and is a member several times over of Coldwell Banker's International Diamond Society and International President's Circle.
Both awards are based on the recipient's gross commissionable income and number of closings. The International President's Elite Award has higher standards than either the Diamond Society or the President's Circle.
Locally, Sullivan is consistently the top-producing broker at Coldwell Banker Lota Realty and among the top-producing brokers in Taos County. She has also received recognition from nonprofit organizations for her support and participation.
Sullivan attributes her success to many things: hard work, dedication, and her approach to clients, both buyers and sellers.
"Good resources are only a click away," she says, "but most of our buyers come from out of town--and most of them are from out of state. They usually aren't familiar with the ins and outs of purchasing property in New Mexico or the specifics of the local market."
Sullivan points out that any good broker will do certain things for her sellers. As an example, she says, "Nearly all brokers will put your home on the MLS [Multiple List Service]. From the MLS, the listing is distributed to other outlets, such as Realtor.com and Zillow. We look beyond that. We create an individual website and a slideshow video for each property. We use state-of-the-art real estate technology to match prospective buyers with available listings. And one of our biggest assets is our website, TaosRealEstate.com. The site is easy to use, and in terms of exposure for our sellers, we couldn't have a better URL."
Sullivan doesn't rely only on technology, however. "Coldwell Banker is the oldest real estate franchise in North America, and Coldwell Banker Lota Realty has been in business more than 40 years," she says. "That kind of longevity is understandably important to consumers."
Moreover, Sullivan has her own team of brokers and support staff in place, enabling her to offer individual attention and top-notch service to her clients. Everyone on her team, she says, shares her philosophy.
"None of us lose sight of the fact that where you live is more than just a house," she said. "It's a home. Buying and selling can be an emotional prospect. We really listen to our clients' concerns. That's why we excel."
