Taos High School graduate sets sights on law school

Raul Antonio Noguera-McElroy was recently awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College at a commencement ceremony in Northfield, Minnesota. A political science major, Noguera-McElroy earned honors, graduating with distinction in his major field of study.

A 2013 graduate of Taos High School, Noguera-McElroy is the son of the Honorable Jeff Foster McElroy, chief judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court, and the late Enrique Noguera Tinoco.

Currently in Taos for a break after graduation, Noguera-McElroy will serve for one year as a Weitz fellow at Nebraska Appleseed in Lincoln, Nebraska. He plans to attend law school after his fellowship.
