The warmer weather has some skiers frowning, but Taos Ski Valley wants you to turn that frown upside down.

New Mexico's premiere ski resort has extended its season through April 9.

"It's been a fantastic season! So much so, that it's been decided we are going to extend the season and remain open Tuesday, April 4th through Sunday, April 9th," said a statement from TSV. "We hope you are as happy about this as we are and are looking forward to taking advantage of the extra time to make some more turns and memories," TSV said.

Officials want current ski pass holders to know they will  need to sign an "extended season waiver," located in the season pass office.

Some dates and events to know about include:

—April 2: Pond skimming will still take place as planned, by The Phoenix.

—April 4 to April 6: Join TSV for "Community Days," which include $20 lift tickets. "We will also ask that you join us in giving back to our great community by making a voluntary contribution to the Taos Community Foundation. Any amount is acceptable and greatly appreciated! Donations can be made at any ticket window," TSV said.

—April 7 to April 9: Ticket prices will remain at $20, and TSV will continue to take donations for the Taos Community Foundation at the ticket window.

"We want to thank each and every one of you who supported Taos Ski Valley this season and we hope to see as many of you as possible during our extension period," officials said.
