Negotiating through better communication

Posted

Richard Kaye will present a free lecture on his book, “The Secrets of Empowering Negotiation Revealed,” at a Taos Entrepreneurial Network meeting Tuesday (April 18), 5:30 p.m., at the KTAOS Solar Center Pavilion, 9 State Road 150, north of El Prado.

Kaye, a Taos resident, is a specialist in networking, communication and team building. A chiropractor by training, he has served on many professional boards and was a founding member of the board of The Association for Network Care.

The speaker received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Long Island University, C.W. Post College in 1973. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1976 from the Columbia Institute of Chiropractic in New York. After 30 years in private practice in San Diego, California, he retired to become an entrepreneur. Prior to entering the field of health care, he was an electronics engineer working in the field of communications, and that background drew him to new fields.

According to his website, Kaye has lectured and presented seminars and workshops in Australia, France, Japan, Russia and around the United States.

Kaye served as an advisory board member for Pacific Rim Institute for Development and Education, a nongovernmental organization member of the United Nations. He is a former vice president and faculty member of CEO Space, a business development organization.
