Mid-School Science Fair

Correction appended: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated the district pulled together with some additional help from some charter schools to pull off the fair.

Students at Taos Middle School wait for their judges during the 2018 Science Fair. 115 projects lined the isles of the gym as students presented their months of hard work to their judges.

Despite recent setbacks in the science department, Middle School Science Department Head Ella Rael said the district pulled together for the fair this year, with the help of town Councilor Nathaniel Evans, who assisted with procuring tables and chairs for the event.

Several students were sick and unable to have their projects judged on Friday, (Jan. 26) and will have the chance to be judged when they return, according to Rael.
