I am not against drinking; however excessive/ binge drinking, underage drinking, and alcohol abuse is a serious problem in all of New Mexico, and yet the Liquor Control Act continues to be ignored.

On Oct. 2 I was in Española. Gas was $2.02 a gallon for regular. In Taos it was $2.39 at Smiths and $2.49 at the other stations in town owned and operated by the local cartel.

Beautiful days in Cerro, from dawn to dusk, amazing sunsets. The only thing obstructing the beautiful views is the smoke coming from a “prescribed burn” at Cerro de la Olla Mountain.

Where does the water come from that's used to water the lovely colored flowers in the baskets hanging from the light posts in downtown? And does it matter whether it's from the tap or the rio? Is one source OK and another not?
